Approach

Therapy That Is Grounded, Compassionate, and Purpose-Driven

My approach to counseling is rooted in the belief that meaningful change happens when people feel understood, supported, and equipped with practical tools for growth. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore what’s been weighing on you while working toward clarity, healing, and restoration.

I understand that seeking therapy can feel intimidating. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, emotional pain, relationship challenges, or questions about faith, you don’t have to do it alone.

A Balanced and Integrative Approach

I integrate evidence-based therapeutic practices with a faith-informed perspective when desired. This allows therapy to be both practical and deeply personal.

My work is informed by:

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help develop emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and healthy coping skills

  • Cognitive and skills-based strategies to address unhelpful patterns and build resilience

  • Christian counseling principles, for clients who wish to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic process

Faith is never forced in sessions. Instead, it is integrated respectfully and thoughtfully, based on your preferences and goals.

What You Can Expect in Sessions

Our work together will be collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. In therapy, you can expect:

  • A compassionate and attentive listener

  • Practical tools you can apply outside of sessions

  • Space to process emotions at your own pace

  • Support that respects both your mental health and personal values

My goal is not just symptom relief, but helping you grow in self-understanding, emotional balance, and confidence in navigating life’s challenges.

I work with adults who may be experiencing:

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Depression or low motivation

  • Relationship or life transition challenges

  • Difficulty regulating emotions

Sessions are provided through secure telehealth, allowing you to receive support from the comfort of your own space at a time that fits your schedule.
